Welcome to the May 2025 Funky Folds Blog Hop. We are a group of like-minded paper crafters who love to make cards with funky folds. Funky actually means "modern and stylish in an unconventional or striking way"... so we are featuring cards that are not your usual rectangle/square portrait or landscape style. Think 'easel', 'pop-up', 'gatefold', 'z-fold', 'shaped' or 3D cards etc. The list is endless.
All Blog Hops have an 'anything goes' theme using any type of 'funky' card fold. This month I've made a Pop-Up Adapted Easel card featuring the Notes & Totes bundle which is in the new 2025-26 Annual Catalogue from Stampin' Up! which was released this week.
Bronwyn (who organises this fab hop) and I were chatting last week about all of the tutorial collaborations we have done together so all of my designs were swimming around in my mind when I was deciding what to make. I have been playing around with the Notes & Totes bundle this week and wanted to make a card where the tote stood up .... enter the Pop-Up Adapted Easel card. This is one of the first card folds I designed and have used it so many times for lots of different occasions. You can see more ideas here.
The Florals in Bloom Designer Series Paper was perfect to use for my tote, drink bottle and flowers. The mat is DSP from the Woven Textures pack which is an Online Exclusives.
I love how many little elements are in the Notes and Totes bundle. Perfect to use for so many occasions. I can't wait to find some time to play more.
One of the new stamp sets - The Right Words - has fab sentiments which you can pair together. It is a great one to have in your stash.
I love that this fold also folds flat to fit into a standard envelope.
